Meet Moonbeam | Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Puppy
Say hello to Moonbeam, a beautiful Ruby Cavalier King Charles Spaniel boy born to Riley and Leti. His rich Ruby coloring gives him the classic, elegant look that makes this Cavalier color so striking. He is still in the early weeks of puppy hood, which means there is plenty of growing, learning, and personality development ahead.
These first weeks are filled with simple but important experiences. Moonbeam spends his time resting, growing, interacting with his litter
mates, and receiving plenty of gentle attention. As the weeks pass, we will begin introducing him to more of the everyday sights, sounds, and routines around him.
We love having the opportunity to watch our puppies change during this stage. Every week brings something new as they become more aware of their surroundings and begin showing us little glimpses of their individual personalities.
Preparing for Life With His New Family
As go-home day gets closer, we begin helping our puppies become familiar with some of the routines they will encounter in their future homes. Around 7 weeks of age, Moonbeam will begin age-appropriate introductions to:
Potty training and a consistent daily routine
Crate training
Walking on a leash
Basic commands, including sit and come
Positive reinforcement and gentle encouragement
These early lessons provide a starting point rather than expecting a young puppy to have everything perfected. Our hope is to make these experiences familiar so his new family has a foundation they can continue after bringing him home.
