Meet Eclipse | Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Puppy
Say hello to Eclipse, a beautiful Blenheim Cavalier King Charles Spaniel girl born to Riley and Leti. Her classic chestnut and white Blenheim coloring gives her the timeless Cavalier look that has been loved for generations. She is still in those precious early weeks of puppyhood, with plenty of growing, learning, and personality development ahead of her.
Right now, Eclipse's days are filled with all the things a young puppy needs most, plenty of rest, time with her littermates, gentle interaction, and lots of attentive care. As she grows and becomes more aware of the world around her, she will gradually be introduced to new sights, sounds, people, and everyday experiences.
One of our favorite parts of raising puppies is watching these little personalities begin to emerge. Each week brings something new, and we're excited to see the individual characteristics that will make Eclipse uniquely her own.
Preparing for Life With Her New Family
As Eclipse gets closer to her go-home date, we will begin introducing her to some of the routines and experiences she is likely to encounter with her future family. Around 7 weeks of age, Eclipse will begin age-appropriate introductions to:
- Potty training and a consistent daily routine
- Crate training
- Walking on a leash
- Basic commands, including sit and come
- Positive reinforcement and gentle encouragement
At this young age, these introductions are all about creating familiarity and building a positive foundation. We don't expect a young puppy to have everything mastered before going home. Instead, our goal is to give Eclipse a helpful head start that her new family can continue building upon with patience and consistency.
