Say Hello to Elvis
Meet Elvis, a handsome Ruby Cavalier King Charles Spaniel boy from Misty and Riley! With his rich red coat and classic Cavalier features, Elvis is already such a striking little guy, and we're excited to watch him grow here at Blessed Little Pups.
At this stage, Elvis is still very much in the quiet, cozy part of puppyhood. His days are filled with lots of rest, time with his mom and littermates, and the gentle care that helps him grow and develop at his own pace.
Before long, that sleepy little puppy will become more curious about everything around him. He'll start noticing new sounds, checking out toys, exploring his surroundings, and showing us more of his own little personality.
That's one of the things we enjoy most about raising puppies. You never quite know what little habits, preferences, or funny quirks will make each one unique.
Giving Elvis a Positive Start
As Elvis grows, we'll begin widening his world in small, age-appropriate ways.
He'll experience different surfaces, household sounds, people, routines, toys, and activities as he becomes ready for them. These early experiences are introduced gradually so he has the chance to investigate and learn without being overwhelmed.
Elvis will also receive plenty of daily interaction, gentle handling, early socialization, and individual attention throughout his time with us.
We want him to enjoy the best parts of puppyhood while also becoming familiar with the kinds of things he'll encounter once he joins his future family.
That means plenty of learning, but also plenty of playing, napping, snuggling, and time with his littermates.
Elvis Will Get a Head Start on Training
Around 7 weeks of age, Elvis will begin working on several simple puppy skills.
His early training will include:
- Beginning potty training outdoors
- Becoming familiar with his crate
- Introduction to walking on a leash
- Early recall work
- Practicing sit, come, and stay
- Positive reinforcement and lots of encouragement
These first lessons are meant to introduce Elvis to good routines, not to expect him to have everything mastered before he leaves.
He'll still be a young puppy with plenty left to learn, and his future family will play a big part in continuing those habits and building on what he starts here.
A little patience, consistency, and praise can go a long way during those first months at home.
That Rich Ruby Cavalier Color
Elvis has a beautiful Ruby coat, one of the four recognized color patterns of the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
Ruby Cavaliers are known for their solid, rich red coloring, giving them a warm and elegant appearance. As Elvis grows, we'll get to watch his puppy coat begin to mature and take on more of that classic Cavalier look.
It's a beautiful color, but it's certainly not the only thing that makes the breed special.
Cavalier King Charles Spaniels have a long history as companion dogs and are often known for enjoying close contact with their people. They tend to appreciate being included in everyday life,
whether that's playing, going for a walk, or simply relaxing nearby.
That combination of beauty and companionship is a big part of what makes Cavaliers so loved.
A Thoughtful Beginning With Misty & Riley
Elvis is the son of Misty and Riley, who are genetically tested and OFA certified.
Health testing our parent dogs is an important part of our breeding program at Blessed Little Pups. It helps us make informed, thoughtful decisions when planning our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel litters.
Once our puppies are here, we focus on giving each one the individual care and attention they need during these important early weeks.
For Elvis, that means a loving start filled with daily care, gradual socialization, age-appropriate learning, and plenty of opportunities to simply enjoy being a puppy.
What Elvis Will Bring Along
When Elvis is ready to begin life with his new family, he'll leave Blessed Little Pups with a few familiar comforts and the essentials he'll need for that transition.
His go-home package will include:
- Up-to-date vaccinations and complete health records
- Health guarantee
- Microchip identification
- A blanket carrying familiar scents from his litter
- Starter PawTree premium puppy food
- A favorite toy
- A leash
- Lifetime breeder support from Blessed Little Pups
We love sending our puppies with things that feel familiar, especially that blanket from the litter, because those small comforts can be helpful during the transition into a new home.
And our support continues long after Elvis leaves us. We're always happy to be a resource for our puppy families as they settle in, ask questions, and watch their puppies grow.
Elvis Has Plenty of Puppyhood Ahead
Right now, Elvis is just beginning his story.
Soon he'll be discovering toys, learning routines, becoming more confident on his feet, and showing us what kind of little boy he is.
Maybe he'll be the one who investigates everything first. Maybe he'll decide he's happiest with a toy in his mouth. Maybe he'll develop some funny little habit that makes everyone laugh.
We don't know yet, and that's part of what makes this stage so special.
We're looking forward to watching Elvis grow and getting to know the individual puppy behind that gorgeous Ruby coat.
For now, this handsome Ruby Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy gets to enjoy being little, loved, and very well cared for here at Blessed Little Pups. ❤️
