A Little Redhead With a Lot of Love to Give!
There's a handsome little redhead growing up here at Blessed Little Pups, and we'd love for you to meet him!
Felix is a beautiful Ruby Cavalier King Charles Spaniel boy, born on October 11, 2026, to Riley and Trio. His gorgeous, rich red coloring gives him that classic Ruby Cavalier appearance, and we're looking forward to watching his silky coat develop as he grows.
Right now, Felix is enjoying the simple pleasures of puppyhood: staying close to Mom, snuggling with his littermates, and getting plenty of rest. But those quiet days won't last forever!
Soon, he'll be discovering toys, exploring his surroundings, and showing us the first glimpses of his individual personality.
Will Felix be the curious little explorer or the fellow who prefers to sit back and watch the excitement? We don't know just yet, and that's one of our favorite things about raising puppies. Each one has a personality all his own!
Growing, Learning & Discovering the World
At Blessed Little Pups, we believe the little experiences during puppyhood can make a meaningful difference.
As Felix becomes developmentally ready, we'll introduce him to everyday household sounds, different surfaces, age-appropriate toys, and new surroundings. He'll receive gentle handling, individual attention, and early socialization, with each experience introduced at a comfortable pace.
Around 7 weeks old, Felix will also begin learning some of the basic routines that can help prepare him for life with his new family.
His early lessons will include:
Beginning to learn to potty outside
Positive introduction to crate training
Getting comfortable with a leash
Early recall exercises
Introduction to sit, come, and stay
Praise and positive reinforcement
Of course, Felix won't have everything mastered before he goes home! These are simply his first introductions, giving his family a foundation to continue building upon.
And in between all that learning, there will still be plenty of time for puppy play and naps!

The Ruby Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is one of four recognized Cavalier color varieties. Unlike the multicolored Cavaliers, Rubies are known for their beautiful, solid red coats.

Felix is the son of Riley and Trio, and we're happy to share that our parent dogs at Blessed Little Pups are genetically tested and OFA certified.
Health testing is an important part of our breeding program. It provides valuable information that helps us make informed decisions when planning our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel litters.
While no screening can guarantee a puppy will never develop a health condition, responsible breeding practices and attentive care are important parts of giving our puppies a good start.
