Born on October 11, 2026, to Riley and Trio, Fernando has a beautiful, rich red coat that gives him the distinctive appearance Ruby Cavaliers are known for.
There's something wonderful about watching a puppy grow from a tiny newborn into a curious little companion. Those first weeks are filled with changes, from opening their eyes and discovering their surroundings to learning how to play and interact with their littermates.

Helping Fernando Discover His World
Here at Blessed Little Pups, we know that preparing a puppy for life with a new family begins long before going-home day.
As Fernando becomes ready for new experiences, we'll gently introduce him to the everyday sights, sounds, and activities of a home environment.
His early puppy socialization will include individual attention, gentle handling, age-appropriate toys, familiar household sounds, and opportunities to explore different surfaces.
These experiences are introduced gradually, allowing Fernando to become familiar with new things without overwhelming him.
We believe puppies benefit from a healthy balance of exploration, positive interaction, playtime, and plenty of rest.
After all, even the smallest discoveries can be big adventures when you're only a few weeks old!
Fernando's First Steps Toward Training
At approximately 7 weeks of age, Fernando will begin learning some of the basic routines that can help him prepare for his future home.
His early introductions will include:
Beginning to learn to potty outside
Positive introduction to crate training
Getting familiar with a leash
Early recall exercises
Introduction to sit, come, and stay
Praise and positive reinforcement
These are gentle introductions rather than completed training. Fernando will still have plenty to learn once he joins his new family!
Our goal is to help him become familiar with these everyday routines so his family can continue building on them with patience and consistency.
And while learning is important, Fernando will still have plenty of opportunities to enjoy the playful, carefree moments of puppyhood.

Fernando is the son of Riley and Trio, and we're happy to share that our parent dogs at Blessed Little Pups are genetically tested and OFA certified.
We believe thoughtful breeding decisions begin with understanding the health of our parent dogs.
