A Lovely Little Lady With a Bright Future!
Meet Francis, a beautiful Ruby Cavalier King Charles Spaniel girl here at Blessed Little Pups! Born on October 11, 2026, to Riley and Trio, Francis is one of those precious little puppies who reminds us just how special the beginning of life can be.
Her gorgeous, rich red coat is characteristic of the Ruby Cavalier, one of the four recognized colors of the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel breed. As Francis grows, her soft puppy coat will gradually develop, and we'll get to watch her beautiful Cavalier features become more defined.
For now, life is pretty simple for this little girl. Most of her time is spent nursing, sleeping, and staying close to her mother and littermates.
But that won't last long!
Over the coming weeks, Francis will begin discovering her surroundings, learning how to interact with her brothers and sisters, and experiencing all those exciting firsts that come with puppyhood.
We don't know yet whether Francis will be the playful entertainer of the litter or the girl who prefers a quiet cuddle. That's something we'll discover as her personality develops, and we're looking forward to every little surprise!
There's More to Puppyhood Than Meets the Eye!
It's amazing how much a puppy learns before ever leaving for her new home.
At Blessed Little Pups, we believe that early experiences help lay the foundation for a puppy's future. As Francis becomes developmentally ready, we'll gradually introduce her to the sights, sounds, and activities of everyday family life.
Her early socialization will include gentle handling, individual attention, different surfaces, familiar household noises, and age-appropriate toys and activities.
We want Francis to have opportunities to explore while feeling comfortable and secure. Every puppy develops at her own pace, so we follow her progress rather than rushing her through new experiences.
And, of course, there will always be plenty of time for naps, playtime, and snuggling with her littermates!
Small Steps Toward Good Puppy Manners
When Francis is approximately 7 weeks old, we'll begin introducing her to some basic puppy training routines.
These early lessons include:
Beginning to learn to potty outside
Positive introduction to crate training
Getting comfortable with a leash
Early recall exercises
Introduction to sit, come, and stay
Praise and positive reinforcement
At this age, learning happens through short, simple experiences. Francis won't be fully trained when she goes home, but these introductions can help make everyday routines more familiar.
Her future family will play an important role in continuing her training, and we encourage patience, consistency, and plenty of positive encouragement.
Why Ruby Cavaliers Capture So Many Hearts
There's something especially striking about a Ruby Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Their beautiful, solid red coats give them a classic appearance, while their expressive eyes and soft, flowing ears add to their unmistakable Cavalier charm.
But these dogs are loved for much more than their looks!
Cavalier King Charles Spaniels were developed as companion dogs and are generally known for their affectionate personalities, gentle dispositions, and love of human interaction.
Many Cavaliers enjoy being involved in family activities, whether that's taking a leisurely walk, playing with a favorite toy, or relaxing beside their owners.
Their friendly nature and manageable size make them popular companions for families, couples, singles, and seniors.
As Francis matures, she'll develop her own unique habits and preferences. We're excited to see what makes this beautiful little girl different from her littermates!
Healthy Beginnings With Riley & Trio
Francis is the daughter of Riley and Trio, and we're happy to share that our parent dogs at Blessed Little Pups are genetically tested and OFA certified.
Health testing is an important part of our breeding program because it provides valuable information that helps us make thoughtful decisions when planning our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel litters.
Although no screening can guarantee that a puppy will never develop a health condition, responsible breeding practices and attentive care are important parts of our commitment to our puppies.
Francis will continue receiving individualized attention, daily care, and age-appropriate socialization throughout her time with us.
Francis Is Packing for Her December Adventure!
On December 13, 2026, Francis will be ready to begin a wonderful new chapter with her forever family!
To help make her transition a little easier, she'll go home with:
Up-to-date vaccinations and complete health records
Health guarantee
Microchip identification
A blanket carrying familiar scents from her litter
Starter PawTree premium puppy food
A favorite toy
A leash
Lifetime breeder support from Blessed Little Pups
We love sending our puppies home with something familiar, especially their blanket. Those comforting scents can help make the first few nights in a new environment feel a little less unfamiliar.
And while Francis will eventually settle into her new routine, our support doesn't end when she leaves!
We're always happy to answer questions, offer guidance, and hear updates from our puppy families as their little companions grow.
A Wonderful New Chapter Is Waiting!
There's a lot for Francis to experience between now and her December homecoming.
She'll discover new toys, begin her earliest training lessons, and develop the little personality that will make her uniquely Francis.
We look forward to watching her grow from a tiny newborn into a curious young puppy who's ready to explore the world alongside her new family.
This beautiful Ruby Cavalier King Charles Spaniel girl will be ready to go home on December 13, 2026, just in time for the holiday season.
Until then, we'll be enjoying every milestone and giving Francis the loving start she deserves.
