Meet Karla | Red Cavapoo Puppy

Meet Karla, the smallest little girl from Yogi Bear and Lila's Cavapoo litter. This adorable Red Cavapoo puppy has a cute little cowlick that gives her an extra touch of personality and makes that sweet face even more memorable.

Born on August 20, 2026, Karla is growing up with us at Blessed Little Pups in Goshen, Indiana, and she has quickly earned a reputation as the laid-back one of the bunch.

While some of her siblings are ready to be right in the middle of the action, Karla tends to take a more relaxed approach to puppy life. She's reserved, easygoing, and the calmest of her siblings. If there is a comfortable place to curl up and watch everyone else wear themselves out, Karla is perfectly content to claim it.

We lovingly call her our little couch potato, and it suits her pretty well!

The Little One With the Laid-Back Personality

Being the smallest of her siblings certainly doesn't keep Karla from standing out.

Her adorable cowlick gives her a look all her own, but it's her calm, relaxed personality that we think families will really fall in love with. Karla isn't usually the first puppy rushing into the middle of everything. She tends to be a little more reserved, taking things in at her own pace before deciding what she wants to do.

And sometimes what she wants to do is simply... relax.

Karla seems to have figured out pretty early that there's nothing wrong with enjoying the quieter side of life. She's still a puppy and certainly has her playful moments, but compared with her siblings, she's the girl most likely to appreciate a cozy spot and a slower pace.

For someone hoping to find a puppy with a naturally calmer, more easygoing demeanor, Karla may be one to keep an eye on.

Karla's Early Training Begins Around 7 Weeks

Even our resident couch potato has a few things to learn before heading home!

At approximately 7 weeks old, Karla will begin working on several introductory puppy skills and routines. These early lessons are kept positive and appropriate for her age. Karla will begin learning:

  • That potty time happens outside
  • How to become comfortable spending time in a crate
  • The basics of walking on a leash
  • Early recall and responding when called
  • Beginning commands such as sit, come, and stay
  • Learning through praise and positive reinforcement

We don't expect Karla to have everything mastered before October 22. Instead, we're giving her a head start and introducing routines that her family can continue once she settles into her new home.

Learning About the World at Her Own Pace

Karla's more reserved nature doesn't mean she misses out on all the important experiences of puppyhood.

As she grows, she'll gradually be introduced to different sights, sounds, surfaces, toys, handling, people, routines, and everyday activity. We allow our puppies to experience new things at an age-appropriate pace, giving them opportunities to build familiarity without overwhelming them.

Karla also has her siblings nearby to encourage a little adventure now and then. Between puppy play sessions, exploring, wrestling, and plenty of naps together, she's learning simply by being part of the group.

And when her more energetic siblings have had enough? We have a feeling Karla will already have the perfect napping spot picked out.

Meet Karla's Parents, Yogi Bear & Lila

Karla's parents are Yogi Bear and Lila, and health testing our parent dogs is an important part of our breeding program at Blessed Little Pups.

Our parent dogs undergo genetic and OFA health testing as part of the thoughtful planning behind our puppies.

We want families to have the opportunity to learn about the dogs behind their puppy, and we're always happy to answer questions about Karla, her parents, and the care she receives while she's here with us.

What Karla Will Bring Home

On October 22, 2026, Karla will be ready to trade her puppy pile for a cozy spot in a home of her own.

She'll head home with:

  • Up-to-date vaccinations and complete health records
  • Health guarantee
  • Microchip identification
  • A blanket carrying familiar scents from her littermates
  • Starter puppy food
  • A favorite toy
  • A leash
  • Lifetime breeder support from Blessed Little Pups

Moving into a new home is a big adjustment, especially for a puppy with a slightly more reserved personality. We'll send along some familiar comforts to help make Karla's transition as smooth as possible.

A Cavapoo Made for the Cozy Life

Cavapoos, a cross between the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and Poodle, are loved for their affectionate, intelligent, and people-oriented personalities. While every Cavapoo is an individual, many enjoy being close to their families and adapt well to a variety of lifestyles.

Karla is already showing us her own version of the Cavapoo personality.

She's calm, reserved, relaxed, and perfectly content taking life at a gentler pace. Add in her petite size and that adorable little cowlick, and this girl has plenty of character without needing to be the loudest puppy in the room.

Karla will be ready to leave Blessed Little Pups on October 22, 2026.

She still has plenty of growing and learning ahead of her before then, and we're looking forward to seeing how her personality continues to develop. For now, we're enjoying our sweet little Red Cavapoo couch potato exactly as she is.

If you're searching for a Red Cavapoo puppy in Indiana with a calm, relaxed, and more reserved personality, Karla might be just the little girl you've been hoping to find.

We'd love to tell you more about Karla and help you decide if our smallest, coziest little girl could be the right fit for your family.
