Meet Kendall | Tricolor Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Puppy
Say hello to Kendall, a handsome Tricolor Cavalier King Charles Spaniel boy from Zach and Oriole. His beautiful combination of black, white, and tan gives him the classic Tricolor Cavalier look, complete with the sweet expression this breed is so well known for. He is still in the earliest stage of puppyhood, and we are looking forward to watching him grow and seeing his personality begin to take shape.
For now, life is pretty simple for this little boy. His days are spent sleeping, growing, spending time with his littermates, and receiving plenty of gentle attention and care. As he becomes older and more curious, we will slowly introduce new experiences that allow him to explore his surroundings and become familiar with the everyday sights, sounds, and routines of family life.
Every puppy develops a little differently, and we enjoy giving them the time they need to grow at their own pace. Over the coming weeks, we will get to know Kendall better while helping him build confidence and prepare for the exciting transition ahead.
Preparing Kendall for His New Home
As our puppies approach go-home age, we begin introducing age-appropriate skills and routines that can help give their future families a helpful starting point. At approximately 7 weeks old, Kendall will begin working on:
- A consistent potty-training routine
- An introduction to crate training
- Gentle practice walking on a leash
- Beginning commands such as sit and come
- Positive reinforcement and encouragement
These early introductions aren't about expecting a young puppy to have everything perfected. Instead, they allow him to become familiar with routines and expectations that his family can continue once he settles into his new home.
