Meet Lonestar | Blenheim Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Puppy
Lonestar is a handsome Blenheim Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy from Riley and Leti. Born on July 28, 2026, this sweet boy has the beautiful chestnut and white coloring that gives Blenheim
Cavaliers their classic and instantly recognizable appearance.
There is a lot of growing ahead for Lonestar, and these first several weeks are an important part of his development. For now, his days include plenty of sleep, time with his littermates, gentle handling, and opportunities to gradually discover more about the world around him.
As Lonestar becomes more curious and independent, we will continue introducing him to new sights, sounds, surfaces, and everyday activities. We enjoy watching this stage unfold because every puppy develops a little differently. With each passing week, we'll get to see more of Lonestar's individual personality and the qualities that make him special.
Helping Lonestar Prepare for His New Home
We want our puppies to have a positive introduction to some of the routines they will experience after leaving Blessed Little Pups. At approximately 7 weeks old, Lonestar will begin working with simple, age-appropriate training and everyday skills.
His early experiences will include:
- An introduction to potty training and a daily routine
- Beginning crate training
- Learning to become comfortable walking on a leash
- Introduction to simple commands such as sit and come
- Gentle handling, praise, and positive reinforcement
At this age, training is about creating familiarity and positive associations rather than expecting perfection. Lonestar's new family will still play an important role in continuing his training after he goes home, but these early introductions can provide a helpful starting point.
