Say Hello to Trust | Tricolor Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Puppy

Meet Trust, a handsome tricolor Cavalier King Charles Spaniel boy from Hope and Zach. With his beautiful combination of black, white, and rich tan markings, sweet Cavalier expression, and those darling puppy features, Trust is certainly an adorable little guy.

Born on September 2, 2026, Trust is growing up with us here at Blessed Little Pups in Goshen, Indiana.

Right now, his days are filled with all the important work of early puppyhood: eating, sleeping, growing, spending time with his littermates, and gradually becoming more curious about the world around him.

There is still plenty of time for Trust's individual personality to emerge, and we love allowing our puppies to show us who they are as they grow. Over the coming weeks, we'll get to see more of the little habits, preferences, and personality traits that make Trust uniquely himself.

Preparing Trust for Life With His Family

As Trust approaches approximately 7 weeks old, his routine will begin including some important introductory training. We don't expect a young puppy to have everything mastered before heading home, but we do want Trust to have a familiar foundation his family can continue building upon.

He'll begin working on:

  • Potty training and learning that potty time happens outside
  • Crate training and becoming comfortable in his crate
  • Learning to walk on a leash
  • Early recall and learning to come when called
  • Basic commands such as sit, come, and stay
  • Learning through praise and positive reinforcement

These early lessons are kept appropriate for Trust's age and development. The goal isn't perfection.

It's simply to introduce good habits, routines, and expectations while he's still here with us.

A Thoughtful Start Begins With Hope & Zach

Trust's story begins with his parents, Hope and Zach. At Blessed Little Pups, thoughtful parent selection and health testing are important parts of our Cavalier breeding program.

Trust's parents have completed genetic and OFA health testing, giving families valuable information about the dogs behind their puppy.

We take the health and care of our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppies seriously and believe giving puppies a good start begins long before their go-home day.

What Trust Will Bring Home

November will bring a pretty exciting change for this little guy. When Trust leaves Blessed Little Pups on November 4, 2026, he'll head home with several familiar and useful items to help his family get started, including:

  • Up-to-date vaccinations and complete health records
  • Health guarantee
  • Microchip identification
  • A blanket carrying familiar scents from his littermates
  • Starter puppy food
  • A favorite toy
  • A leash
  • Lifetime breeder support from Blessed Little Pups

Those first few days in a new home can be a big adjustment for a puppy, so we like sending a few familiar things along for the journey.

Growing Up at Blessed Little Pups

There is a lot of development packed into the first several weeks of a puppy's life. As Trust grows, his little world will gradually expand to include more interaction, new sights and sounds, regular handling, puppy play, training, and age-appropriate experiences.

Being raised around people and everyday activity gives Trust opportunities to become familiar with many of the things he'll encounter once he joins his own family.

Of course, he also has his littermates beside him for much of the adventure. There will be plenty of puppy piles, play sessions, exploring, and probably a little mischief along the way.

There's Something Special About a Cavalier

Cavalier King Charles Spaniels are beloved for their beautiful appearance, but it's their companion-oriented history and affectionate nature that have truly made the breed special to so many families.

They're known for wanting to be involved with their people, whether that means joining in on an adventure, playing around the house, or simply finding a comfortable spot nearby.

Trust's gorgeous tricolor coat gives him one of the four classic Cavalier color patterns, combining black and white with beautiful tan points. As he grows, we're excited to watch his coat, feathering, and unmistakable Cavalier features continue to develop.

Trust's Next Chapter Begins November 4

Trust will be ready to leave Blessed Little Pups on November 4, 2026, but he has plenty to accomplish before his big day arrives.

Over the next several weeks, he'll grow, play, begin his early training, experience new things, and show us more and more of the personality hiding behind that adorable little face.

For now, we're enjoying every stage with Trust and giving this handsome tricolor Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy plenty of care and attention as he prepares for the family and adventures waiting ahead.

If you'd like to learn more about Trust, we'd be happy to answer your questions and tell you more about this special Cavalier boy.
