Meet Walter | Blenheim Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Puppy
Walter is a handsome Blenheim Cavalier King Charles Spaniel boy from Riley and Winky Willows. His beautiful chestnut and white markings give him that timeless Cavalier look, and we are looking forward to watching this little guy grow here at Blessed Little Pups.
At this stage, Walter is still discovering the world one small experience at a time. His days include plenty of rest, time with his littermates, gentle handling, and lots of growing. As the weeks pass, he'll become more curious and active, giving us the chance to see more of his individual personality begin to emerge.
We believe puppyhood should unfold naturally. Each new experience is introduced at an age-appropriate pace, allowing Walter to build confidence while still enjoying all the simple things that come with being a young puppy.
Walter's Early Training Journey
Around 7 weeks of age, Walter will begin working on some of the everyday skills and routines that can help make his transition into a new home a little easier.
His early training will include:
Beginning potty training with an introduction to going potty outside
Crate training and learning to become comfortable in his crate
Early leash training
Introduction to basic commands such as sit, come, and stay
Positive reinforcement and encouragement throughout the learning process
Walter will still be a young puppy when he goes home, so these skills won't necessarily be mastered. Instead, our goal is to introduce him to good habits and give his new family a foundation they can continue at home.
What Walter Will Bring Home
When October 16, 2026 arrives, Walter will leave Blessed Little Pups with several familiar items and important essentials to help him settle into his new home:
Up-to-date vaccinations and health records
Health guarantee
Microchip identification
A blanket carrying familiar scents from his litter
Starter PawTree premium puppy food
A favorite toy
A leash
Lifetime breeder support from Blessed Little Pups
Walter's parents, Riley and Winky Willows, are genetically tested and OFA certified, helping us make thoughtful decisions when planning our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel litters.
Why We Love Raising Cavaliers
The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is known for being a loving companion with a gentle, people-focused nature. Cavaliers tend to enjoy being close to their families and participating in everyday life, whether that means playing, exploring, or simply relaxing nearby.
Here at Blessed Little Pups, Walter will spend his first weeks receiving daily interaction, early socialization, and plenty of individual care. He'll gradually experience new sights, sounds, routines, and activities designed to help familiarize him with the world he'll encounter after leaving our home.
These early weeks give us the opportunity not only to care for Walter, but also to help prepare him for the many new experiences waiting for him with his future family.
From Our Family to His
Walter was born on August 4, 2026, and there is still plenty ahead for this little Blenheim boy before he's ready to leave us. In the coming weeks, he'll become more playful and adventurous, begin his early training, and continue developing into his own little personality.
We'll enjoy having a front-row seat for all of it until Walter's October 16, 2026 go-home date arrives.
Then this handsome Blenheim Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy will be ready to take everything he's learned at Blessed Little Pups along with him as he begins life with his new family.
If you'd like to learn more about Walter, we'd be happy to answer your questions and tell you more about this sweet Cavalier boy.
